This is a David Thomas McNaught Phoenix Rising I purchased from a dealer on Ebay. It's a completely handmade custom guitar. For those not familiar with McNaught guitars, see his website at www.mcnaughtguitars.com. The company consists of McNaught and Dave Mansel ("the other Dave") who make all thier guitars by hand. Their guitars typically feature mohagany bodies and necks, flamed maple tops and rosewood fretboards though a wide variety of options are available. This particular guitar is an early McNaught when they were still using the "pointy" headstock.
The "moonscape" inlay is just amazing. This was the first McNaught to feature this inlay, which is still available as an upgrade on custom orders, as well the first to feature a this color top.
